It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Donna Lynn Christie lost her battle with cancer on July 10th, 2018 in her 63rd year. Survived by her beloved partner Richard Scholes and her loving and proud daughters Kieva & Alexis Hranchuk. Forever missed by sisters Gail Fairhead & Kate McLean, together with their families. Predeceased by her previous partner Ken Hranchuk and her parents Theresa & Don Johnson. Donna was a woman of sheer strength & positivity who was active in her community and admired by an abundance of friends. A retired teacher at Huntley Centennial Public School and a dedicated member of the West Carleton Garden Club, Donna was always smiling, was filled with kindness, and surrounded herself with friends and flowers. Please join us in celebrating this remarkable woman at a visitation at the Carp Chapel of Tubman s, 115 Rivington Street, Carp, on Sunday, July 15th from 2:00- 4:00 & 6: 00- 8: 00 p.m. and at the celebration of her life on Monday, July 16th from 1:00- 4:00 p.m. at The Marshes Golf Club 320 Terry Fox Drive. , tributes or to the Canadian Cancer Society may be made at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com .
