Suddenly passed away surrounded by his family.
Predeceased by his son, Jeff; mother, Joan; father, Richard; brothers, Tommy and Basil; and sister, Joanie.
Leaving to mourn, his wife, Cindy; cat, Pixie; daughter, Lisa (Noel); grandchildren: Kassie (Matt), Donovan (Lauren), Jason (Jill), Shianna and Tyler; great-grandson, Matthew; brothers: Richie, Ted, Ronnie, David, Steve, Kenneth, Wayne, Donald and Gordon; sisters: Geraldine, Elizabeth, Diane, Linda, Carolann and their families; and a large circle of family and friends.
Special thank you to his family doctor, Dr. David Metcalfe, the Cancer Clinic, Dr. Fagan O’Dea and his public health nurse Valorie who were by our side through this. Also, special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. L. A. Miller Centre that gave Billy outstanding care in the short time he was there. We are so grateful for your kindness and compassion towards Billy and his family.
Cremation has taken place. A Commital Service will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Outer Cove on Monday, May 6th at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Billy’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
