CORBIERE, Robert Stuart “Tiger”
June 18, 1966 – December 11, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden loss of Robert « Tiger » Stuart Corbiere on December 11th, 2023. Tiger passed away at Sault Area Hospital, under doctor’s care, due to a preexisting health condition. He was in his 58th year.
Tiger’s family was one built from respect and love. There are too many people; family, community members, friends, and past loves that will miss him. The way Tiger lived was singularly his own, and there was no one and nothing that could change his mind.
Tiger joins his recently departed sister, Angela McLean, whom he adored, in the spirit world.
As a well known elder of Thessalon First Nation, there is a monumental amount of people who will feel this loss. Friends, neighbours, relatives and community members alike will remember Tiger with respect, integrity and love.
He leaves behind his father, Eric Fisher, mother, Violet McLean, and will be immensely missed by his partner of 6 years, Amy Cosgrove. Tiger is also survived by his children Erica Corbiere (Tyler), Dustin Corbiere (Christina) and Alicia Corbiere-McNutt, his grandchildren Ervin, Ada-Lynn and Athena and his brother in spirit, Bill Bisaillon.

A sacred fire was held on Thessalon First Nation in his honour, to guide him on his journey as immediate family took the time to grieve.
There are no planned services at this time. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Beggs Funeral Home. Bamaapii.
