Leon “Bo” Leon LeTerte passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 29, 2024, surrounded by family.
Son of the late Sylvia (Pace) and Leon LeTerte, Bo found his calling early on as a skilled mechanic. He dedicated his life to the craft, spending countless hours tinkering with engines and fine-tuning muscle cars.
While Bo cherished his solitary moments in the garage, he found true joy in the company of his wife, family, and many friends.
Whether cruising down the open road in one of his beloved Mopars, fishing, or gathering for drinks, Bo thrived in the camaraderie of good times with his closest buddies.
Bo is survived by his devoted wife, Frances (MacAdam), who stood by his side through thick and thin. In addition to Frances, Bo leaves behind daughters, Lindsey (Ernie Ball) and Krista (Mark Paterson) and grandchildren, Brooke, Charlee, Macsen and Covie. Bo is also survived by his siblings, Bobby, Theresa (MacDonald), Juanita (MacDonald) and Velinda (Lalonde); and many nieces and nephews who shared in his journey through life.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Sydney Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 4th from 1-4 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Renal Dialysis, VON, or Palliative Care. They were tremendous in help and compassion.
