Passed away peacefully at the Janeway Children’s Hospital on May 1, 2023, Angel Noel Rona Brenton, age 17
years.
Predeceased by her loving great grandmother Rona Wells; grandmother Louise Brenton; uncle Jerry Freake and
uncle Edward Freake
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are, parents, Mollie (Kelly) and James (Ashley); siblings: Hubert,
Kristine (Josh), Curtis (Brooke), Charlette (Brandon), Rosemary, Hayley, Kevin, Ashton, Mike (Jessica), and Richie
(Amanda); nieces and nephews: Brooklyn, Kayden, Amelia, Gracie, Bella, Jerri-Lee, Myla, Kendall, Bailey, Liam,
Camden, Bentley, Emma, Declan, Savannah, and Sterling; grandparents: Eileen and Hubert Freake, and
Woodrow Brenton; special Home Care Friends: Fern Keefe (Roy), Sharon Blake (Terry) and Erica Smith (Loren);
and a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
Angel was a miracle child from the day she was brought into this world. She was only given 6 months to live as a
newborn, and has fought a good fight throughout her 17 years. Angel is the strongest girl we have ever known and
she has proven to us time and time again that she wasn’t letting any statistic depict her. Even in her final days,
she was still managing to bring all her loved ones together. She was our earth angel for 17 years, and now she’s
our sky angel.
The entire family would like to send a loving thank you to the Janeway doctors and nurses who were involved in
the care of Angel for the past 17 years.
The entire family would also like to send our gratitude and appreciation to Pastor Shawn Bowers for the countless
prayers and pastoral services he’s provided for Angel over the years.
