William Billy Calvin Mulock – 1956 – 2017

Obituary for William “Billy” Mulock
It is with great sadness that the family of William Calvin “Billy” Mulock, 60, of Rhodes Corner, announces his passing on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the QE II Health Sciences Centre, Victoria General Site, Halifax.
Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of Calvin and Shirley (Woodworth) Mulock of Rhodes Corner.
Billy’s working life was spent in the boiler room at Michelin Tire in Bridgewater and Waterville, where he was employed for over 34 years, retiring in 2009. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed spending time at the camp at the lake as well as sharing his love of hunting with his friends and especially his nephews. Tending the pool with his sister, Paulette, and looking after her cats and dog were also among the simple pleasures that Billy cherished.
He will be sadly missed by his best friend and colleague, Martin Floyd, with whom he enjoyed sharing every Wednesday, pouring over the flyers and shopping for bargains. He also enjoyed challenging his mom to the puzzles in the daily newspaper before their day could begin.
Besides his parents, Calvin and Shirley Mulock, Billy is survived by sister, Paulette (Barry) Corkum, Rhodes Corner; nephews, Nicholas (Elizabeth) and Stephen.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. #3 Lunenburg where a service to celebrate Billy’s life will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm, Rev. Paul Jensen officiating. Interment will be in Silver Cemetery, Rhodes Corner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to War Amps or a charity of your choice. In Billy’s honor, we ask you to do a random act of kindness to help make the world a better place!
