CHROBOT, Wanda Maria–
June 16, 1936 – December 21, 2017
Passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington with her family by her side. Wanda Maria (nee Rosenbaum) Chrobot, wife of Chester Chrobot for 61 years. Loving mother of Ted Chrobot (wife Barbe) of Concord, California, Barbara Reid (husband Brian) of Guelph, Ontario and Larry Chrobot (wife Carolyn) of Prince George, British Columbia. Cherished Babcia (grandmother) to Diana, Christina and Matthew (Ted), Drew, Caitlin and Tristan (Barbara) and Andrew, Kathryn and Lauren (Larry). Adoring Babcia and Baba (great-grandmother) to Harper and Elliott (Drew), Lucas, Ariel and Jacob (Diana), Hannah (Christina) and Megan and Maxwell (Matthew). She is survived by her brother Antony Rosenbaum and sister Frances Lorenc. Predeceased by her parents Maria and Jozef Rosenbaum, and sisters Karoline Mizera and Stefania Juszczyszyn. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the many medical and counseling staff who helped with Wanda’s care.
Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 5:00-9:00 p.m.. A Family Vigil will be held in our chapel on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice St., Guelph. Entombment at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery. If so desired and in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
