Walter M Clarke
1925-2017
Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Hospital, Walter Milton
Clarke, age 91. Predeceased by parents Lavinia and Augustus Clarke. He
leaves to mourn his loving wife of 61 years, Gladys, brothers Eric
(Dorothy), Roy (Betty), Arnold (Joyce) as well as a large circle of extended
family and friends. Throughout his life Walter was active in many
organizations. He was a lifetime member of the Newfoundland Hockey
Association, a member of Rotary, President of the Grand Falls Curling Club,
a Grand Falls-Windsor Town Councillor, a member of the Newfoundland Labrador
Teacher’s Association, a member of U.C. Men’s Choir and a MUN Alumnus. No
flowers by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Children’s Wish
Foundation or any charity of choice. Visitation will be at Central Funeral
Home on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral service
will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church.

of sorrow. Your kindness is appreciated and will always be remembered.
