Walter Malone
Passed away peacefully Thursday, December 14 at Shoreview at Riverside with his loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Rita (nee Kelly) for over 62 years. Loving father of Maureen Stewart (Bob), Kathleen Yetman (Dan), Frank (Kari), Liz, Maggie and Peter. Cherished grandpa of Michael (Chelsea), Jon (Courtney), Mackenzie (Josh), Joshua, Shasta (Kevin), Zoe, Lauren, Jack, Evangeline and 6 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Bernadine Hartford (the late Jim), the late Jerry (Carol Ann) and predeceased by John (Eileen), Tom (Marie), Kathleen (Ron), Helen (Bob), James. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Dad was a true Irish Gentleman with a fine singing voice. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Met Hospital and Shoreview for their love and care of dad. Donations to Heart & Stroke would be appreciated by the family. Funeral Visitation at Janisse Funeral Home (519-253-5225) 1139 Ouellette Ave. Windsor on Sunday, December 17 from 2-5 pm & 7-9 pm. Parish prayers at 4:30 pm. Funeral visitation to continue at St. Vincent De Paul Roman Catholic Church (2015 Balfour Rd. at Empress) on Monday, December 18 from 9:30 until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
