On Tuesday December 27, 2016 at the Ottawa General Hospital in his 79th year, Vincenzo Zito passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Beloved husband of the late Gaetana Zito (nee Calarco). Loving father of Rocco Zito (Georgia), Consolata Zito and Giuseppe Zito (Nicole). Cherished nonno of Vincenzo, Adoni, Antonio and Ava. Dear brother of Rosa Cianci (Pasquale), Pasquale Zito (Adriana), Angela Crea (late Giovanni) and Giuseppe Zito (late Tita). Vincenzo will also be sadly missed by his in-laws Marianna Utano (late Giovanni), Vincenzo Calarco (Gianna), Giuseppa Romeo (late Domenico), Paola Macrí (Domenico), and Maria Scopelliti (Giuseppe). Predeceased by his parents Rocco and Consolata Zito. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, Barrhaven Chapel 3000 Woodroffe Avenue, Nepean, 613-823-4747, on Monday January 2, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Funeral will be held at St. Anthony’s Church. 427 Booth St., Ottawa on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Capital Memorial Gardens.
