Valmont Gaudet of St-Joseph passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont on Saturday November 18, 2017 at the age of 84. Born on February 5, 1933, in La Montain, Memramcook, he was the son of the late Honore and Delina (Landry) Gaudet. He was a school bus driver until his retirement and a barber and was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd degree. He will be sadly missed by his wife Simone, one daughter, Edith of St-Joseph, two sons, Euclide (Charline) of St-Joseph and Serge (Janice) of Dieppe, three grandchildren, Chantal, Gino and Remi, two great grandchildren, Maëlle and Ethan, two sisters, Jeannita (Leo-Paul) Savoie of La Hetriere and Rosella (Georgio) Gaudet of Fredericton, four brothers, Lorenzo (Lorraine) of Conn, Leophane (Suzanne) of Ontario, Adrien (Pauline) of La Montain and Henri-Paul of Montreal, one sister-in-law, Lucille Gaudet of Dieppe and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, Bernice and two brothers, Fernando and Dollard his twin.
There will be no visitation and a private funeral service will be held at a later date. Interment will be held in the Saint Thomas de Memramcook parish cemetery.
