Obituary of Toni Palmer
Toni Ann Palmer, age 58
It is with great sadness that our family announces Toni’s sudden passing. Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Clair and Francis (Hull) Todd.
Let us remember Toni for her caring for others, her joyful and humorous personality, and her love for her family. Even with the pain and discomfort from medical issues Toni persevered in providing for our family’s needs. She enjoyed car drives, Chinese food, and being with others. Her little dog Rosie, affectionately called Grammy Dog, was her precious and constant companion. She was known for her amazing cooking; whenever someone came to visit they could never leave hungry.
Her love and personality touched the hearts of many people.
Toni was dearly loved and is survived by her husband of 30 years Ted and daughter Kathryn (Nick Thompson). Also surviving are sisters Yvonne (Lorne) Hudson, Oshawa, ON; Wanda (Art) Nicholson, Summerside, PE; Coleen (Peter) Tupper, Sunken Lake, NS; Debbie (Wayne Eye) Sundstrom, Northville, NS and Bonnie (Arnold) Nicholson, Pleasant Valley, PEI. Brothers; Peter (Lynette) Watson, Truro Heights, NS; Greg (Emma Giffin) Sundstrom, Kentville, NS; David (Sharon) Watson, Halls Harbour, NS.
Toni is predeceased by a sister Bonita Lee Lefluer, Hornepayne, ON.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be from 7 – 9PM Wednesday, Aug 30th at the Morristown Baptist Church, 6557 Aylesford Road, where funeral services will also be held Thursday, August 31 at 2:00 PM, Reverend Chad Clements officiating. A brief family graveside service will directly follow. Reception to follow at Morristown Community Centre, 10 Prospect Road, Morristown. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canada Diabetes, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, or a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
