Tina Van Uden – 2017

Van Uden, Martina “Tina” (Arts)
October 16, 1926 – January 21, 2017
Passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Beloved wife of the late Case Van Uden (1998). Cherished mother of Sue (Gene) Jelovic, John (Corinne) Van Uden, and Anne (Bryan) Waekens. Very proud Oma of grandchildren Kyle, Jeff, Nicole, Jessica, Andrea, Katie and Alex and loving Great Oma of numerous great grandchildren.
She is missed by her only surviving sibling Ted Arts and friend Emily, sisters-in-law Agnes Arts, Mary Arts, and An Arts. Predeceased by all her other siblings.
Tina was a Resgistered Nurse having worked many years in both Chatham Hospitals. Mom’s greatest love was and always will be her family. We are comforted in the knowledge that we had the love of the best mother and Oma. We know she is now together again with our Dad and she will be in our hearts forever.
Friends and relatives may visit at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm on Thursday, January 26, 2017. A Funeral Service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 11 am with Fr. Bill Capitano officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at C.K.H.A and Chatham Retirement Resort.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
Our World will never be the same without her smiling face.
