Tatiana Burak – 2017

On January 11, 2017, Tatiana Burak of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 99 years.
Tatiana is survived by her loving family, grandchildren, Sonya, Nadia (Rudy); Marco (Michelle) and Mike (Olga); grandniece, Nadia (Jeff); and many great and great-great-grandchildren in Canada; and relatives in Ukraine. Predeceased by her husband, Peter; son, William (Mathilde); daughters, Mareya (John), Oksana, Katherina and Teklynia; grandson, Orest; and her parents and siblings in Ukraine.
Prayer Service Monday, January 16 at 7:00 p.m. at St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church, 11305 – 95 A Street.
Divine Liturgy Tuesday, January 17 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church. Reverend Anton Tarasenko officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta & NWT, 10531 Kingsway Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5H 4K1 or to Widows & Orphans in Ukraine, c/o St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church, 11301 – 96 Street, Edmonton, AB T5G 1T2.
