We regret to announce the death of Shizuo Osawa on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 85. He enjoyed walking his dogs and puttering around the house. He is survived by his wife Chiyo, his children; Harumi Russell (Charlie) of Downingtown, PA, Kiyomi Carriere (Jerry) of Kapuskasing, Steve (Linda) of South Porcupine and Tom (Claudia) of Kingston, as well as seven grandchildren, Becky, Mathew, Nick, Jake, Christopher, Crystal and Chii. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Amy. A memorial service will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican church at a later date with Reverend Valerie Isaac officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Extendicare Kapuskasing Resident’s Fund would be greatly appreciated.©
