Kantati, Salime (nee Helou)
89 years, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord, with a smile, while listening to her daughter-in-law sing hymns at Leamington District Memorial Hospital in the presence of her loved ones on December 30, 2016. Beloved wife of Kheirallah Kantati. Dear mother of Joseph (Houda), George (Georgette), Ricardo (Ghada), Mona (Antoine) Baeini, Jean D`Arc (Fred) Sarkis, Michel (Diana), Claudette (Joe) Piorro, Gloria (Ross) Adamson. Loving Tita 30 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Will be missed by many brothers and sisters in Canada, Lebanon, Australia and Brazil. Salime was a wonderful wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed life and made everyone smile, calling everyone Habibi (Love). Mom was always welcoming to everyone. Mom always had a positive outlook on life with never a complaint. She was dedicated to Ste. Anne in Quebec. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Church, 280 Talbot Street East, Leamington from 9:00 a.m. until the Funeral Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
