Sadie Reeder
1933-2017
Sadie Victoria Reeder, 83, of Riverview went home
to be with her Lord and Saviour Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the
Moncton Hospital.
Born in Cornhill, she was the daughter of the late
Robert and Maude (McCully) McKnight. Sadie was a homemaker
but in her early working years was employed with Dowty
Manufacturing. She was a member of the Lower Coverdale
Baptist Church, the Praise and Worship Team and WMS. Sadie enjoyed
crocheting and knitting but was happiest when she was with her
family.
She is survived and sadly missed by her children
Sherry Short (late Larry), Riverview, Loraine Wigmore (Gerry),
Salisbury, Trent (Betty), Bowmanville, ON, Vicki Benns (Ray), Boundary
Creek and Troy (Shawnda), Stoney Creek; sister-in-law Eileen McKnight;
seventeen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces
and nephews. Sadie was the last surviving member of her
immediate family. She was predeceased by brothers Calvin
Fillmore, Sheppard, Angus and Elmer McKnight.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106
(372-4800) visiting will be Friday, Dec 8 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.
The funeral will be held in the chapel Saturday, Dec 9 at 11 am with
Rev. Ken Rain and Pastor James Hammond officiating.
Interment at Pine Grove Cemetery, Cornhill.
If desired, memorials to the Heart and Stroke
Foundation or the Pine Grove Cemetery would be appreciated by the
family.
