The death occurred at Maplewood Manor, Alberton on Friday,
December 30, 2016 of Ruth Kezia Wallace formerly of Brooklyn, in her
100th year, wife of the late Ira Wallace. Born on June 1, 1917 in West
Devon, daughter of the late Herbert & Euphemia (Campbell)
Acorn.
Cherished mother to Wanda (Elmer) Arthur, Alberton; Velda
(Roy) Luxton, Summerside; Alvin (Sharon), Cambridge, ON and mother in
law to Shirley Wallace, Alberton. Loving Nan to 14 grandchildren, 33
great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
Ruth was predeceased by her parents, husband Ira, son
Wendell, grandson Brian Arthur, sisters Blanche, Margaret, Minnie,
Ruby, brothers Walter, Sherman and Alvin.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral and Chapel, O’Leary
with visiting hours on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 3-6 p.m. Funeral
will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at 1:30 pm at the Elmsdale
Church of the Nazarene. Interment to follow in Elmsdale Nazarene
Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, in memory of Ruth, memorials to Maplewood
Manor Equipment Fund or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be
appreciated.
