Obituary of Ruby Osbourne
Passed away at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Winsor on Thursday, December 28, 2017, Ruby Irene Osbourne at the age of 83 years. Ruby was a member of the Salvation Army Home League in Bishop’s Falls. She is predeceased by her husband, Douglas; great-grandchildren, Breanna Power and Amy Pfeifle; sister, Jessie Locke; and brother, Gerald Mitchell. Left to mourn are sons, Ed, Bill (Roxanne), and Dave (Renee Haines); daughters, Mary, Ruby Holloway (Dean Colbourne), and Karen. Also left to mourn are sisters, Marjorie Pickett, Tootes Budgell, Shirley Rideout, Ivy Rogers, and Brenda Warford; brother, George Mitchell; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a circle of other relatives and friends. Majors David and Wavey Chaulk will conduct the funeral service on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11am from the Salvation Army Citadel in Bishop’s Falls. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home in Bishop’s Falls.
