RONALD GEORGE WELLS
December 9, 1947-November 2, 2017
Mr. Ronald George Wells passed away at his home in Rimbey Alberta at the age of 69 years.
Ron was born in Cold Lake Alberta. He was the 6th child of George and Evelyn Wells.
Ron loved the outdoors, country living, and especially country dances. He loved to dance and was a great partner to do the polka and two-step with. Ron was a “car guy” whose interest in classic cars was a lifelong passion. He attended car shows, swap meets with his best friend Allan Ironside. Ron worked in numerous jobs and loved being a pipe fitter in the oil patch. He retired at age 63 and enjoyed his life living in Rimbey Ab. Spending time with family. He loved attending all the family gatherings, weddings, birthdays, grad celebrations retirement parties etc. He especially loved to play with the younger nieces and nephews and tease them and than laugh his big boisterous laugh. He loved to tell stories and would spend many a evening with his family and friends sharing, laughing and having a good time. Ron is predeceased by is father and mother George and Evelyn Wells., his sister Karen Shantz, brother John wells, nephew Edward Shantz and brother in law Robert Roydhouse.
Ron is survived by his children Ron, George and David Olson, his siblings, Clifford
(Marilyn) Wells, Mona Roydhouse, Linda Wells, Diane ( Ewald) Arndt, Sherry
(Norman) Kalk, 16 nieces and nephews 23 great nieces and nephews, and 2 great, great nieces, and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday November 17th at 2:00 pm at Fulham Hall , Peers, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers Donation may be made to the Diabetes Association.
There’s still time to send flowers to the Memorial Service at the Fulham Hall at 2:00 PM on November 17, 2017.
