MARTIN, Ron (Cable Guy) – Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at the Lissard House, Cambridge, at 60 years of age. Survived by his loving wife Ruth Anne. Dear father of Gerald and Mandy. Cherished grandfather of Hunter. Dear son of Robert Martin (Deanna). Loving brother of Jerry (Fiona), and sister Luann Loker (Peter). Survived by brothers-in-law Reg Campbell (Laurie) and by Colin Campbell (Cathy). Will be greatly missed by all of his many nieces, nephews and friends, and by his special niece and caregiver Crystal Campbell. Ron was predeceased by his mother Ruth and by sister-in-law Rose Campbell. Ron was a long-term employee of Rogers Cable and a long-time member of Br. 272 Hespeler Legion. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at Lounsbury Funeral Home (519-658-9366), 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:30pm with visitation beginning at 1pm.
