Lovingly Remembered
Roma Mae Spurrell formerly of St. John’s. NL passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer in Calgary on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the age of 70 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Mary Rideout and her sister Linette. Roma leaves to mourn her beloved husband of 51 years, Cyril; son Jason (Karen); daughters Jill and Jacqueline, her darling grandchildren Hailey-Marie and Jacob whom she adored; sisters Marie and Audrey both in the United States, Pamala (Harry), Beverly Ann (Dennis) all of NL; brothers Joseph and Robert in NL, Winston in BC, MacPherson (Libby) of NS, sister-in-law Joan (Gordon) in NL and brother-in-law Lloyd in BC; special friend Maureen and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. We cannot forget the dedicated staff in Unit 38 at the Peter Lougheed Hospital, for the TLC she received during her stay there.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Salvation Army Berkshire Citadel Community Church (222 Sandarac Drive NW, Calgary) on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
