Suddenly at his residence on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Arlene (nee Jackson) for 47 years. Loving father of Derek and his wife Sarah, Jonathan and his wife Catherine and Ashleigh Cremers and her husband Ryan. Cherished grandfather of Claire, Ben, Molly, Alice, Makayla and Gavin. Dear brother of Sharon Romashyna and her husband Orest. There will be a Funeral Service held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Celebration of Life to follow in the Highland Park Reception Centre. In memory of Doug, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
