Life Story for Robert “Bob” Saks
SAKS, Robert “Bob”– Peacefully on Wednesday December 20, 2017, at Linhaven Home, in his 87th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary (1978). Dear Dad of Ron, Tom (Randi), Anne, and Allan (Daphna). Grandpa Bobby to Matthew (Odette), Warren, Brandon, Daniel (Rachel), Aaron (Allie), Alysha, Ilan (Laura), Jared, Jordana, and great-grandfather of Dahlia. Brother of Beverly (Keva) Richman and was Uncle Bobby to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Doris. Bob’s life was centered on his family and friends. A lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, he was a respected furniture and hotel businessman.
Bob is at the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, where service will be held on Friday at 11 o’clock. Interment Lundy’s Lane Cemetery. Shiva at 3658 Matthews Drive 7-9 pm on Saturday, and from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Sunday and Monday. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial donation to either Canadian Cancer Society or to Heart Niagara.
