Hebb, Reta Louise, age 80, of Falmouth, Hants County, passed away in Falmouth, on Saturday, December 23, 2017.
Born on April 19, 1937 in Mount Denson, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Reta was the daughter of the late Royce and Alfreda (Peach) Hartt.
Reta is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lorne Allan Hebb; sons, Darryl (Lucinda MacAulay), Coldbrook; Barry, Wolfville; sisters, Pauline Redden, Windsor; Joyce Bonn, Head of Jeddore; Joan (Maurice) Lockhart, Windsor Forks; Beatrice (David Wood), Mount Denson; Lorna Myles, Avonport; Lorraine Kelly, Thunder Bay, ON; Anne (James) Moore, Falmouth; brothers, Garth (Nancy), Mines Road; sisters-in-law, Judy Hartt, Vivian Hartt and Donna (Marshall) Benedict;
Besides parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Carleton, Gerald, and Colin Hartt, also Lorne in infancy; in-laws, Betty Hartt, Richard Redden, Merton Schofield, Alan Bonn and Colin Kelly.
The family wish to express a sincere thank you to all the Northwood Home Care workers, for the care and compassion they gave to Reta over the last year.
Due to weather conditions, a private family graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. Private interment will be at the Centre Falmouth Cemetery, Town Road, Falmouth.
Donations in memory of Reta may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to a charity of one’s choice.
