HAGGITH, Raymond Eugene “Gene” (1940-2017) of Simcoe passed away, surrounded by his loving family, at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday, September 14th , 2017 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Anne Haggith (nee Pond). Loving father of Julie Adamczyk (John) of Kingston and Jeff Haggith of Cambridge. Cherished grandfather of Joshua (Jessica), Jeffrey, & Jacob. Dear brother of Tom Haggith (Mary Lu) of Simcoe Dear brother-in-law of Jim Pond (Barbara) of Simcoe, Dolores Pond (Late Harvey) of Port Dover and Marilyn Williamson (Late Jim) of Winnipeg, MB. Also survived by extended family. Predeceased by two brothers, Donnie & Ricky. Also predeceased by his grandparents: Mabel & Frank Garland who raised Gene into adulthood and were always lovingly remembered by Gene. A family interment of ashes will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe with Rev. Bryan Robertson officiating.
