Phyllis Kathleen Nason
1925-2016
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Phyllis Kathleen
(Higgins) Nason, wife of the late Tyler Lincoln Nason, announces her
passing, which occurred on December 22, 2016, at Carleton Kirk
Lodge. Born in Saint John, NB on January 28, 1925 she was a
daughter of the late Leonard and Edna (Cobin) Higgins.
Phyllis loved spending time with her family and friends and
will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Her grandchildren
were her pride and joy and she took every opportunity to spend time
with them. She had a kind heart and had a soft spot for
birds.
Phyllis is survived by her son, Duane (Donna) Nason;
daughter, Janet (Douglas) Kelly; grandchildren: Keith Kelly, Kyle
Kelly, Angela Fash and Derek Fash. She is also survived by several
nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Besides her husband and parents, Phyllis is predeceased by
her sisters: Muriel Devine and Bernice Hughes.
Arrangements are under the care of
Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home,
1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425). Following
Phyllis’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral
service. Donations in Phyllis’s memory can be made
to a charity of the Donor’s Choice.
