In deep sadness we announce the passing of Phyllis Elizabeth Kruhlak in Edmonton on December 25, 2016, at the age of 88 years.
Phyllis is survived by four sons and one daughter, Ron (Bobbie), Rob (Darla), Gerald (Vivianne), Diana (Dennis) Kuchta, and Ken (Rhonda); seventeen cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Maureen, Jordan, Kenna, Stefan, Ivanna, Andriy, Lukian, Marco, Nikolai, Kristina, Katelyn, Larysa, Aiden, Taryn, Cohen, and Mckinley; Phyllis also leaves her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Orest (Jeri) Kruhlak of New Westminster, BC and Marty Kruhlak of Edmonton and their families. Predeceased by her husband, Terry; infant son, Dennis; parents, Nancy and John Malkowski; mother and father-in-law, Kathryn and Michael Kruhlak; and brother-in-law, Ole Kruhlak.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre and the staff on Unit 11Y for their care and support.
Funeral Rite Thursday, December 29 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 10951 – 107 Street. Right Reverend Stephan Semotiuk officiating with interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
