Butts, Phyllis Elizabeth (Ings) Birch Grove It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Phyllis Elizabeth Butts, who passed away peacefully on Monday April 24,2017, surrounded by her family at Seaview Manor, Glace Bay at the age of 92. Born in North Sydney, September 17, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Clement (Beatrice) Ings and the late Clara ( Sam) Hayes. She moved to Birch Grove at a young age where she met and married her husband, George and raised their family. She was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Port Morien, Birch Grove Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Birch Grove Home and School…
