MULLETT, Phoebe Doris (nee Peet) – Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital surrounded by her loving and devoted family on Saturday, April 8, 2017. Phoebe Mullett age 85 years. Predeceased by her first husband Ronald Peet (Jan. 4, 1982); second husband Eric Mullett (Sept. 26, 1999); sister: Rita Rose and her husband Ron; nephew: Johnny Moore and special friends: Ruby O’Keefe, Mary Chayter and Donna Sears. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her children: Dave (Elaine), Rick (Rhonda), Donna (Randy) Martin, and Sue (David) Layte; grandchildren: David (Kerri), Donna Peet (Nick MacPherson), Kristi (Rocky) White, Kerri (Chris) Somerton, Lana Martin (Matt Nurse), Holly (Roger) Howell and Jason (Karen) Anthony; great grandchildren: Hailey, Robbie, Amelia, Jagger, Jack, Drew and Austin; special friend Jack; brother John Moore (Barbara deceased); her card friends: Jean Moores and Sheilah Pierson; the staff and residents of Hillcrest Manor, mom always thought of them as family. Also leaving to mourn Eric’s children: Rosaliand, Wayne, Raymond and their families and a large circle of extended family and friends. The Peet family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Doctors and nurses of 5 South East Vascular St. Clare’s Hospital and the 4th Floor of the H.S.C. for your continuous compassion and care, Rev. Bill Bartlett and Rev. Scott Parsons for their guidance and prayers during mom’s extended hospital stay. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave. Mt. Pearl on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from First United Church Mt. Pearl. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Phoebe’s memory to The Canadian Diabetes Association.
