Obituary for Peter “Panagiotis” Kastanis
KASTANIS, Peter (Panagiotis)
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Fountain View Retirement Home at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Eleni. Loving father of Angi(Frank), Alexandra(Benny), and Gina(George). Cherished grandfather of Kenny, Leah, Jamie, Trisha, Michael and Christina & great grandfather of Chloe. Peter will be sadly missed by all of his other relatives & friends. Friends and family will be received at HERITAGE FUNERAL CENTRE 50 Overlea Blvd., 416-423-1000 on Sunday, December 3 from 2 – 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 4 at ST. DEMTERIOS GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH 30 Thorncliffe Park Drive at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
