Obituary for Peter John Brown
Peter John Brown born January 27, 1935 in Wellington, Somerset, England and moved to Canada in 1957, passed February 14, 2017 after a long battle with Cancer. He is deeply missed by his loving wife Margaret (King) of Drumheller, married April 9, 1960; their 3 children Darren, Mike and Laurie as well her husband Darren Anderson and 3 beautiful granddaughters Amanda, Kaity and Karyn. He is also missed by brothers Tony and David, sister Wendy and their families in England. Peter loved to travel and enjoyed many wonderful years of explorations before and after his retirement from CIBC in 1992. He and Margaret volunteered with Meals on Wheels for many, many years and only recently gave it up. He had so many wonderful friends and neighbors including a great group of golf buddies he loved spending time with. Memorial Services will be held at Evan J Strong Funeral Services (5502 – 2 Street SW) on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11:00 am.
