Pam Behan
BEHAN, Pamela May
fought strong but passed at the Ottawa General Hospital on December 12, 2017, at the age of 61. .
She is survived by her spouse Rob O’Riley, son George (Stephanie) Schnare, granddaughters Brianna and Kayleigh, mother Shirley Robinson, sisters Heather Robinson, Darlene (Dewey) Ayres, Karen Finley, Debbie (Don) Patterson, brother Scott (Michelle) Robinson and by many nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her father Keith Robinson, husbands George Schnare and Edward Behan.
Pam was dedicated during her career as a public servant with Public Works, Environment Canada, and Corrections Canada. She was very proud of her work with the Tribal Class Upgrade while on assignment with DND in Halifax. Upon retirement she enjoyed her time camping in the summer and cheering her beloved Ottawa Senators in the winter. Pam devoted her time to physical training at the gym with trainers that appreciated the effort at all times. Pam was proud to have completed a number of Ottawa Cancer walks before and after her diagnosis.
Pam’s greatest love was spending time with her two granddaughters and watching them grow into young women.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 15, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of
Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery
