Obituary for Olga (Olha) Boyko
It is with great sadness we announce the pasing of Olga Boyko. She died in her 100th year with family at her side.
Olga is survived by her daughters, Luba and husband, Michael, and Lesia; grandson, Mychaylyk; sister-in-law, Evelin; and family in Canada and Ukraine. Predeceased by her husband, Michael; her parents, Mychaylo and Eustyna Kryvoruchka; brothers, Metodiy and Walter.
(Olga was born in Chortkiv, Ukraine. She was a kind, beautiful, hardworking, giving person. She loved her family dearly, enjoyed gardening, embroidering, reading, sports and was the best cook!
Prayer Service Sunday, November 5 at 8:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
Diving Liturgy Monday, November 6 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 10825 – 97 Street. Cathedral Clergy officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bridge of Hope (orphanages in Ukraine), c/o 9645 – 108 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5H 1A3.
