Forever In Our Hearts
Norman and Ruth lived independently at home until he passed away peacefully with family by his side at the General Hospital in Regina at the age of 96 years.
Norman “Pa” is lovingly remembered by Ruth, his loving wife of 35 years; his daughter Donna Sigmeth (Robin Johnson); his son Ron Sigmeth (Debbie Schmidt); his granddaughters Taralynn Schmidt and Nicole Schmidt, Emma Johnson and Paisley Johnson; grandson Kevin Schmidt; great granddaughter Jazmyne Schmidt Lennon; sister-in-law Helen Preikschat; as well as many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.
He was the last surviving sibling of 10 born to the Christof and Else Preikschat family.
The family wishes to thank the compassionate staff at the General Hospital Emergency, Cardiac Care Unit and Cardiac Observation Unit.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1909 Ottawa Street, Regina, SK on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Pastor Helmut Nachtigall and followed by interment at Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Regina Food Bank, 445 Winnipeg Street, Regina, SK S4R 8P2, www.reginafoodbank.ca.
