Lynds, Norman Dexter Age 78 of
Indian Harbour Lake, Guysborough County and formerly of Truro passed
away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Bible Hill, he was a son of the late Roland and Muriel (Bell)
Lynds. Dexter worked as a power engineer with Nova Scotia Power and
Crossley Carpet Mills in Truro. He moved to Indian Harbour Lake a year
ago and attended Indian Harbour Lake Pentecostal Church.
Dexter’s main hobby was woodworking. He enjoyed listening to
gospel music. He is survived by his wife, Marion; brothers,
Walter(Marion) Lynds, Ian(Jill)Lock, both of River Bourgeois; several
nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday in Indian Harbour
Lake Pentecostal Church from 1:30 p.m. until time of funeral service
at 2 p.m. with Pastor David Connolly officiating. Interment in
Riverside Cemetery, Sherbrooke. Family flowers only please. Memorial
donations may be made to the Indian Harbour Lake Pentecostal Church.
Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and compassionate care of
