Noreen V. Steen
1948-2017
It is with great sadness the family of Noreen V. Steen
announce her passing at Bobby’s Hospice on December 23,
2017. Born in Blacks Harbour on August 27, 1948 she was a daughter of
the late Hollis and Lola (Justason) Steen.
Noreen is survived by her brother Gerald (Betty) Steen;
sisters Holly (Danny) Walsh and Dawn Nash; and several loving nieces
and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
sister Sandra Steen and nephew Stuart Steen.
The family would like to extend special thanks to
Noreen’s close friend Annemarie Beale and her homecare
worker Nadine Tower for all the kindness, support and compassion shown
to Noreen over the years.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of
Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint
John, NB (634-7424). Keeping with Noreen’s
wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Remembrances in
memory of Noreen may be made to a charity of one’s choice
