Obituary of Myrna McGowan
McGowan, Myrna Rose – 80 formerly of Moschelle passed away October 28, 2017, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in East Waldec, Annapolis Co., December 18, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Delilah (Harlow) Eisner.Being a strong willed and kind hearted person, family was the most important thing to Myrna. She was a member of the First United Baptist Church in Annapolis Royal, and loved to knit and bake for all her family. In her later years, she enjoyed coloring. Myrna is survived by her sons, Richard ‘Rick’ (Cris) of Dartmouth, and Jeffrey of Dartmouth; daughters, Karen Bowe of Waterville, and Shelly Gibson of Annapolis Royal; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Vernon) Rankin of Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews. Other than her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Darrell; brothers, Shirley and Carroll; grandson Jeffrey McGowan,sister, Rhoda. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal, where a visitation will be held 7-9pm Wednesday. A funeral service will be held 2pm, Thursday November 2, 2017, from the First United Baptist Church, Annapolis Royal, with Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Legassie officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Vista Cemetery, Clementsport. Donation in Myrna’s memory may be made to Mountain Lea Lodge, First United Baptist Church Annapolis Royal, or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
