Passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017, Monica Cecila Greene at the age of 90 years. She retired from Riffs Ltd. in 1990 after 35 years of service in the men’s department. She is predeceased by her parents, William and Alice O’Reilly; brother, William; sisters, Theresa Jackman, Rita Philpott, and Marie Beson, and son-in-law, Danny Mulrooney. She leaves to mourn her daughters, Joan Mulrooney, Patricia Greene, and Barbara (John) Shea. Also left to mourn are brothers, Jim (Maragret), and John (Mary); grandchildren, Sammy Jo Shea, Wayne (Tammy) Mulrooney, and Christopher Mulrooney; great-grandchildren, Chantel Mulrooney, Danielle Snook and Dillon Snook; as well as her nieces and nephews. Father William Houlahan will conduct the funeral mass from St. Joseph’s Parish on Monday, February 27 at 11am. Interment will take place at the Interfaith cemetery on Union Street. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home in Grand Falls-Windsor.
