Obituary for Mildred Matenchuk
On December 25, 2017, Mildred Matenchuk, formerly of Lamont, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 years.
Mildred is survived by two sons, Ron of Edmonton and Dwayne (Lorie) of Wostok; seven grandchildren, Michael, Erinn (Justin), Kimberly (Justin), Trevor (Billie), Ryan (Kimberly), Candice (Kirby), and Brittany; eight great-grandchildren, Avery, Lynden, Kameron, Kate, Ethan, Eva, Easton, and Jameson. Predeceased by husband, Mike Matenchuk; daughter, Dianne; brothers, Bill and Eugene Chomlak.
The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to the doctors, nurses, and caregivers of the Lamont Health Care Centre.
Family and friends may pay their respects Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
Funeral Mass Monday, January 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, St. Michael. Reverend Francis Mariappa SAC officiating with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Edmonton. In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made directly to the Lamont Health Care Centre, Lamont Health Care Centre, Box 479, Lamont, AB T0B 2R0.
