It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mary B. P. MacPhee
(Leslie) announces her passing, which occurred on Monday, July 17,
2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving
family. Born in Saint John on May 28, 1942, she was a daughter of the
late Angus and Evelyn (Singer) MacDonald.
Mary will be missed by her children: Arthur Leslie (Marshia),
Mary Doiron (Chris), Nancy Leslie (Ozzie), Karen Leslie (Wayne),
Barbara Leslie (Mark) and Shelly Cormier (John); many grandchildren
and great grandchildren; her siblings, Linda “Diane”
Beddow, Judy Johnson (Don), Brenda Newman (Chuck), Cindy MacDonald
(Jim), Donald MacDonald (Diane), Tony MacDonald (Kathy) and Paul
MacDonald (Louise); as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition
to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husbands, Gaston Leslie
and Roger MacPhee; several siblings; and a great grandson Gaston
Wayne.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral
Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with
visiting on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Funeral
Service will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 12:00 pm from
Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at
Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances may be
made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or
