It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Mary
Jean (Connell) Cromwell wife of the late Noel Cromwell which occurred
on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born
in Saint John she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret
“Eileen” (Connelly) Connell. She was a member of St.
Ann’s Church. She is survived by four sons: Andrew (Melanie) of
Rothesay, Jason (Cheri) of Quispamsis, Matthew (Jocelyn Mihichuk) and
Phillip both of Saint John; one sister, Patricia Lockhart (David) of
Hampton, brother-law: David Cromwell (Bernice), sister-in-law: Debbie
Allaby (Tom); eight grandchildren: Thomas, Sam, Noah, Will, Mekhi,
Hailey, Dawson and Charlee; several nieces and nephews. Besides her
husband, Noel and parents William and Margaret she was predeceased by
one brother: Jack and one sister: Eleanor Connell.
Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St, Saint
John, NB (634-1965) with visiting on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 2-4
and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday,
April 17, 2017 at 12:00 PM at St. Ann’s Church 136 Simpson
Drive. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer
Society, The War Amps and Cathedral Restoration Project would be
