Mary Herman, age 84, of Stratford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Spruce Lodge. Born in, Downie Township, daughter of the late Joseph and Kathleen (Hurl) Dunsmore. Survived by her true love and best friend of 64 years, Ralph Herman. Loving mother of Kathleen (Joe) Herzig, Randy Herman, John (Ruth) Herman and Tom Herman. Proud grandmother of Chris, Jessica, Jenny, Jeff, Trevor, Jasmine, Melissa, Morgan, Jessica, Megan and great grandmother of Jacob, Anika, Olivia and Joseph. Mary will be remembered by her siblings; Tom Dunsmore and Jessie (Doug) Scheuerman. Mary is survived by sisters-in-law Mary Dunsmore, Jean Herman and Wilma Czarny. Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by two sons, Barry Herman (2001) and Rick Herman (1994), brother Jack Dunsmore, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Elaine Dunsmore, Florence (Tony) Wiggins, Vera (Chester) Lewis, Gladys (John) Eidt, Wib Herman and John Czarny. Family and friends may call at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Sebringville Cemetery.
