Angela Nicholson, 89, of RR2, Monkton died peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, December 30, 2017.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph Nicholson (1997). Dear mother of Leo Nicholson (Julie), Joe Nicholson (Jaynie), Peter Nicholson, David Nicholson, Stephen Nicholson (Anne Marie) and Rev. Paul Nicholson. Loving grandmother of Elaine, Kevin, Joseph, Anna, Sarah, Kathryn, Michael, Caley and Brendan. Lovingly remembered by a number of great grandchilden. Dear sister-in-law of Mary Ryan and Madelyn Ryan. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents William and Sarah Ryan, infant son Patrick, brothers Louis Ryan, Joe Ryan, Sylvester Ryan and sisters Marguerite Walsh (Joe) and Sr. Helen Ryan C.S.J.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Kinkora on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre, 116 Montreal St., Mitchell. Spring interment in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery. Memorial donations to Stratford and District Right to Life or Stratford General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com. A family rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.
