Marilyn Loretta Fitzgerald-Wilson –
62, of Halls Harbour, Kings County, passed away after a courageous
battle with cancer on Friday, November 17, 2017 with her family by her
side. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and
Nellie (Schnare) Fitzgerald. She had a great love for gardening and
enjoyed working in her flower gardens. She is survived by her husband,
Dennis; a son, Andrew (Melissa), Dartmouth; step-sons, Jason (Alisha),
St. Stephen, New Brunswick and Justin (Anya), McAdam, New Brunswick;
four sisters, Pauline (Gary) Love, New Maryland, New Brunswick; Judy
Lambert, Lakeville; Pat (Wayne) Quirk, North Alton and Barbara (Jeff)
Gibson, Kanata, Ontario; four brothers, George (Jean), Brampton;
Michael (Judy), Philippines; Raymond, Steam Mill and Steven, Toronto,
Ontario; nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to
her family, she will be sadly missed by her dog, Bella, whom she
greatly adored. A celebration of her life will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Thursday, November 23, 2017 in the White Family Funeral Home,
Kentville. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or
Valley Hospice Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
