Marian Louise Sewell
1944-2017
Marian L. Sewell of Southampton, NB passed away November 29, 2017 at
the Upper River Valley Hospital. Marian was born at Southampton, NB
in 1944, a daughter of the late Murray and Rosie (Lenentine) Tompkins.
Marian was an active member of the Nackawic Lions Club for many
years.
She is survived by her husband, Francis Sewell; a daughter, Anita
Hickey (Michael), Fredericton, NB; a son, Robbie Sewell, Ontario;
three grandchildren, Jessica, Jordan and Noah; a brother, Sherwood
Tompkins; a sister-in-law, Zella Tompkins; two brothers-in-law, Howard
Jenkins and Kenneth Rockwell; several sisters-in-law and
brothers-in-law in the Sewell family; several aunts, uncles, nieces,
nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Marian was predeceased by sisters Patricia
Rockwell, Eileen Jenkins and Darlene Lagacy and infant Shiela and a
brother, Merlin Tompkins.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 12 noon until 2
p.m. when a Lions Club Memorial Service will be held, followed by a
funeral service with Rev. Ryan Farrell officiating. A reception will
then be held at the Nackawic Lions Club.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Marian, the family
has suggested the Louise Breau Memorial Medical Trust Fund or the
Canadian Cancer Society.
