Obituary of Margaret Sehl
Margaret Elizabeth “Betty” Sehl, age 89 years, died peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Friday, April 21, 2017.
Betty was the beloved wife of the late Edward John Sehl. Much loved mother of Betty Anne (Ron), Tom (Susan), Mary (Gerry), Ted (Cindy), and Joe (Laurie). Proud grandmother of Ryan (Halina) and Lindsay Becker, Laura (Patrick) and Vicky Fenwick-Sehl, Bethany and Alexandra, Jeff, Christopher, Grant, and great grandmother of William Becker. Dearly loved sister-in-law of Jack Sehl (Mary), Helen Drago and Walter Coblenz.
Betty was predeceased by her father Thomas F. Bellisle and mother Mary Elizabeth (Bess) (Haffey), her sister Rita Coblenz and brother-in-law Lou Drago.
Proud Aunt of 15 nieces and nephews.
She was a founding member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Waterloo, a longtime member of the Catholic Women’s League. Betty was a nurse at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto before her marriage.
Friends and relatives are invited to share their memories of Betty with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, April 25th, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered in the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Agnes RC Church, 75 Bluevale St. N., Waterloo on Wednesday, April 26th, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Reception to follow at St. Agnes Church.
