Madeleine passed away peacefully on December 21, 2016 at Wetaskiwin, Alberta at the age of 86.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Lawrence; children, Carol (Hans) Broere, Ron (Wendy) Taje; grandchildren, Amy Broere (Matt Coste), Angie Broere (Stuart Martens), Greg Broere, Shauna (Todd) Prokopchuk, Scott (Charene) Taje, Megan (Jordon) Stuart, Brandon Taje (Adrianna Kotanko), Brian Boisvert, Amanda Boisvert, Brandon (Kara) Boisvert; eight great grandchildren, Austin, Noah, Talia, Claire, Reece, Eleanor, Tristan, Hazen; sister-in-law, Alice Burkhardt; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Madeleine was predeceased by her parents, George & Marie Rehaume; son, Allan Taje; daughter, Judy Taje; sisters, Anna (Homer) Vail, Helen (Cecil) Turnquist, Ida (Irvin) Taje.
Viewing: Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Crooked Lake Cemetery.
Memorial Service: Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Chapel, Wetaskiwin.
