Service Details
Leon passed away after a lengthy illness. He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Phoebe Scott; his brother Jan and sister-in-law Georgia. He is survived by his wife Sharon; sisters Marion Campbell, Viv (George) McCaughey, Lyn (Barry) Christenson, and Gwen (Dave) Andrews; sister-in-law Linda Scott; brothers Jack (Nell) Scott, Ervin Scott and Ed (Irene) Scott; as well as numerous and much loved nieces, nephews, great and great-greats. Leon wanted to thank family, friends and neighbors for all their friendships and kindness over the years. Special thanks to all the hospital staff and Doctors for such good care.
As per Leon’s request there will be no formal Funeral Service. Interment of his ashes will be on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Zion Church Cemetery (Highway 53 East of Ponoka), to be attended by family and friends.
There’s still time to send flowers to the Interment at 1:00 PM on October 27, 2017.
