Lawrence “Larry” Mahar
1959-2016
With sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Lawrence
“Larry” Edward Mahar, age 57 at the Colville Manor, Souris
on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Born on October 10, 1959 he
was the son of Lawrence and Lorraine (Nee: Butler) Mahar.
Leaving with fond and precious memories are his mother Lorraine,
children Lisa (Shane) Mooney, Stephanie (Dwayne) Foote, siblings
Charles (Vicki), Farron (Lisa), Clint, grandchildren Gracie, Rihley,
Caleb along with a circle of extended family and those who had the
privilege of calling him friend. Beside his father Larry was
predeceased by a brother Perry. Arrangements entrusted to
the care of Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home from where the family
will be accepting visitors on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 5 – 8
pm. A service giving thanks for a life well lived will take
place from Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday,
January 3, 2017 at 11:00 am, followed by a private family interment
service at a later date. Those wishing to make memorial
donations are encouraged to donate to Prince Edward Island Mental
Health and Addictions or to a charity of donors choice.
